Guest guest
Well I'm not a postop yet--so I can drink all I want!! HEHE! Boy I better make sure that I have some wine for my last dinner Hahaha Pammi! Make that the " last supper " ........ Welker told us to stay away from alcohol for the first year and if we can stay away permanently so much the better. Its tough on the liver during the weight loss period and drinking alcohol puts an added strain on it. Ive never been a drinker anyway so I wont bother even starting! Beer always tastes good with fried food and crawfish! The only alcohol I have in the house is for cooking. I occasionally enjoy a glass of wine while out and about, but my control-freak nature expresses itself in my demand to always be in the driver's seat, so I rarely drink. I'm glad to know that I could enjoy it post-op, but I won't miss it.
