Guest guest
Hi ya Chris-- try and chill, okay? I had a friend who was obese, maybe 250 pounds or so, age 35, no significant health problems-- she dropped dead in her parents living room after dinner one night. Threw a clot into her lungs, and she was gone. Any one of us can go at any time! And the best way out of the health corner we have painted ourselves into is this surgery. If you have a good surgeon, he will use all the precautions available, filters, heparin, walking. talk to your doc and see what he/she recommends! You know what to do for your venous stasis, so keep doing that, and make arrangements to get switched ASAP. 'Course, you could always start dieting and exercising, too. Immobility is our enemy.
