Guest guest
I must say that the crying you mentioned concerns me very much, too. I have had little to no issues with the casts, and am wondering if it could be something else. Sounds like you are a fantastic mommy who is doing what it takes, though! Tell us more about you/baby! mizladyflames wrote: Hey I am new here, I was trying to find a site like this with people who are going through what I am going through too. The first week was the worst with the cast for baby. I cried that whole week with her. She hated them on her and I had to rock her to sleep all the time. I barely ate or slept I Just wanted her to know mommy is here for you but with each new cast she has gotten ALOT better. This is her fith week now and she is starting to smile alot more which makes me so very happy cause now I know she is okay with them but man how I wish I could still go through it for her. Guest guest
Oh I cried a ton during the first couple of weeks of Gracies casting too! But I am a bit of a crier =), think a lot of it was my hormones but it was a difficult time. Amazing though how it really does get better and this group sure helped!!! & Grace Hey I am new here, I was trying to find a site like this with people > who are going through what I am going through too. Guest guest
i must agree with the other replies. i have a 13wk old boy and he had soft cast on for the first 6 weeks, changed every week and one week he wouldn't stettle until i removed his casts for his bath then re appication. so obviously his casts were uncomfy for whatever reason. i did have an old school plasterer that time, and was a bit " i know it all " but hey. i only had her the once and the only time we had trouble. i still feel guilty sometimes especially when he comes out of the bath (which he loves and goes mental at)and i have to put his boots and bar back on. i just think ahead, it's only for a short time and these treatments are to help him have a normal as possible life in the future. keep posting, haz of uk
