Guest guest
Hi Nan! I can relate to everything youve said especially the handicapped parking space., bad arthritic knees and everything in between! I know its not easy. Walking is sheer hell when we lug around all the extra poundage....know what? I thought my knees would improve greatly after surgery and they did for a little while then it all came back with a vengence! I guess I was so heavy for too long and it messed up all the cartilage in my knees. I know that Ive probably damaged the bone in the tibia too. All I can do now is get knee replacement surgery which Im trying not to do for awhile longer. But.....my life IS so much better with my weight off, as I can breathe better and things like that. And life will get better for you too, I promise! Hugs, Judie
Guest guest
Nan: I too have a high BMI, I think it was 61 or so.... I'm 47 so I'm right there with you in age and excess rolls. I'm 5'10, and over 400+ (450 or more?? -- I really don't know) Nan how bad was the surgery you had on the stomach (apron).... It would be nice not to have to go into surgery twice, but I have a feeling he'll want to do me the same way as he did with you. I wonder if he might also take a VAP out that I had for chemo 2 years ago. Cancer markers are good, I've just been procrastinating going under again ..... Later Claire Claire Initial Consult with Dr. Anthone 12/17/01 I'm so excited... __________________________________________________
