A few weeks ago, I went to my Aunt's funeral, an Aunt I've been around all my life, my cousins still joke about how I would beg to out with them on a date:) can't say I remember that but OK.  My memories of my Aunt, She was almost always sick with something, looked swollen

a lot, and I use to think what is wrong with my Aunt, my Mom said she has a lot of things wrong with her.  she had a lot of trouble with her lungs, and no one knew why. Well about 5 or 6 years ago, my Aunt and Uncle stopped to see us, as they were

retuning to the north, after winter in the south with a big trailer, they were taking homebecause it was just to hard anymore for my Aunt to make the trip.  As we talked she asked me many questions about Sarcoid, and as I answered them she said " I have

that " ,  I told her to ask her doctors to check it out and see if she has Sarcoid.  Well I asked my Mom what they found out and she didn't really know.  At the funeral the Minister said, My Aunt had many years of dealing with a very rare

disease, Sarcoidosis, but she will no longer have to deal with it.  I think she had it for many, many years and just didn't know it. The good news is she was 81.  She lived a long, happy, (although sick) life

with 4 children and many grandchildren which she adored, and even greatgrandchildren, they showed pictures of her with her grand kids and a big smile on her very round, puffy face.  I hope this gives us hope.

Love and blessings to all, Marla
