I'm so sorry to hear that you have had such troubles. It must be just

some weird 's law thing with you guys. : ) I can't say I've

ever heard of this happening with the s, I do remember one

family that recieved the wrong pair (they were WAY too big) and Jean

hurriedly corrected the mistake. Are Hayden's feet two

different sizes? Could the impressions have been skewed by him moving

one of his feet when making it? I'm just really surprised by this but

I know that or Jean will take care of this right quick for you.

And in the meantime, Hayden will get used to the Markells and you and

DH won't have to kill each other. Just keep checking his feet to make

sure he isn't getting sores or blisters. And do what you need to do

to get all of you some sleep - the first night Sammy wore his shoes I

slept with him on my chest on the bed in our spare room (so DH could

get real sleep and not be cranky, lol). I also found he liked holding

my hand while he slept. It was really rather sweet, and we were all

able to actually get some rest.

Wow, what a journey for you guys. I don't know about the mitchells as we just

ordered our pair two days ago. However, I'm glad to hear the Markells seem to be

working for him for now! That's definitely great news. My dd was in the Markells

after her tenotomy and was very wimpery/whiney for a couple of days, but then

settled right into them and was totally fine with them, no complaining ever. So

hopefully that will be the case for you guys while you wait for the s to

come in. Heck, if you get the hang of the Markells and they're working you may

not want to switch to mitchells. Why change when it's working, eh? Good luck

either way!
