Guest guest
No surgery date scheduled but his office is in the process of writing the letter to United Health Care(POS). Keeping my fingers crossed. ********************************************************************************\ ******************************************** - That's GREAT !!!!!!! I told you that my experience was the same, except that the two surgeons I contacted for a 'second' opinion didn't even say anthing about a barium enema. I am SOOOO glad you didn't just give up. My fingers are crossed as well, and I'll say a prayer for backup measures !!!! Keep me posted. Bye, Donna

You have the one health care company that seems to approve the DS fairly painlessly, unless I " m mistaken... alyssa

With the exception of a handful of folks who have struggled with diarrhea, it seems to me most DSers go once or twice daily. Hmmmm. Guest guest
I am 41/2 months out and go 8-10 times a day. Re: Second Opinion - Impressive > I am only about 7 weeks out, but I certainly don't go 4-6 times a day. I am lucky if I go once every other day. The first week it was 1-2 times a day, then I started having constipation. Now it is starting to regulate and I am getting back into my prior potty pattern. I know different people have different experiences, but I don't think you would necessarily be spending your life in the bathroom. > > Stick with the new surgeon, sounds like the other one didn't know as much as he thought. > > Kathy M. > DS 7/19/01 Dr. Hares > 213 pre-op > 173 today (40 lbs.!) > > ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >

Guest guest
, Thanks toLiane and others telling me about FiberCOn I've gone from going that much and it being diarrhea to going twice in the morning and once at night just in the last 4 days!! I had tried Flagyl, citracell, watching fat, taking anticholestrol drugs and avoiding fruit juices. Nothing helped. I can't believe I finally feel normal again. Maybe you should try FiberCon.
