Guest guest
I have a quick question. Maddie just moved into her dbb on Monday. We had absolutely no problems until last night. Now, her right foot keeps coming out of the shoe. Could she be losing correction already? MAybe I'm just paraniod, but she's also crankier. Before I only had to put on her shoes after her bath or after checking for sores, but I've already had to put it back on three time today, and she's only been up for 4 hours. Sorry about the major run on sentence. Any advice would be great. - Michele emily 5/18/02 and Maddie 9/6/05 bcf dbb 23/
Guest guest
, Sounds like her foot has become more accustomed to the shoe, squished maybe a little if you will... try tighter. Tight, tight, tight. As tight as you can get it and then some. Push with your thumb on the strap after you tighten it, shove the heel deep into the shoe and then re-tighen. Then lace. Then pull on the heel to see if it comes out. If it does, re-tighten again. keep that up till it doesn't come out anymore. When the heel doesn't move anymore, it's tight enough. let us know how it's going. hope this helps. Kori At 08:38 AM 12/16/2005, you wrote: >I have a quick question. Guest guest
I figured out our problem. now that the swelling has gone down in Maddie's feet, her right foot is about 1/2 inch shorter than her left and is swimming in the shoes. She needs a smaller, narrower shoe for that foot. We're going back to Childrens on Monday, and the orthotist can fit her again. These are the same shoes the previous doc gave us, and they're just too big. Thanks for the advice. - Michele 5/18/02 and 9/6/05 bcf dbb 23/7 number23 wrote: Ha, Kori - it always reminds me of saddling a horse anyway but to hear you describe it makes me laugh! s. ----- Original Message ----- try tighter.
