That is, by time I realized my stomach was full, I had eaten at least 2 more fork fulls. Of course this caused pain and vomiting of the extra. > I'm not sure if this is what you mean. > One of my pre-op problems was that I didn't recognize any fullness signal, so it took quite a few months to learn it. Now I can eat at a normal speed and just slow down when I get near to full. > Try eating slower. > > Rita > > > > >

I can't eat much spaghetti (mostly meat) but I can eat alot of watermelon. I think as you learn your foods, you get to a point where you wont overeat if you stick to the quanities that worked in the past.... ~~* AJ *~~ Age 37 5'8'' Post op 7/24/01 Open BPD/DS self pay - Dr Baltasar -Alcoy Spain 07/24/01 BMI 64 415.1 08/06/01 BMI 59 390.2 -24.9 lbs! -10.75 inches 08/16/01 BMI 58 387.0 -28.1 lbs! -11.25 inches 08/24/01 BMI 58 386.5 -28.6 lbs! -15.5 inches 08/30/01 BMI 58 378.3 -36.8 lbs! -21.25 inches My personal website: www.WLS4AJ.homestead.com Check out the Bellingham Support Group at WWW.WLSBellingham.homestead.com

She did sub sandwichs so I just eat a little of the sandwich and then ate the meat and cheese out of it...LOL Then I ate some sun chips...like about 4 of them. Now prior to surgery I'd have eaten a foot long sandwich (I ate not even a 5th today), and had lots of chips. We had cupcakes and icecream. I ate 3 little bits of ice cream and just 1/3 of the cupcake... it still seems strange to me to leave food on my plate....but I'm loving it!! ~~* AJ *~~ Age 37 5'8'' Post op 7/24/01 Open BPD/DS self pay - Dr Baltasar -Alcoy Spain 07/24/01 BMI 64 415.1 08/06/01 BMI 59 390.2 -24.9 lbs! -10.75 inches 08/16/01 BMI 58 387.0 -28.1 lbs! -11.25 inches 08/24/01 BMI 58 386.5 -28.6 lbs! -15.5 inches 08/30/01 BMI 58 378.3 -36.8 lbs! -21.25 inches My personal website: www.WLS4AJ.homestead.com Check out the Bellingham Support Group at WWW.WLSBellingham.homestead.com
