Guest guest
maggie, i've heard of people in their late 60's having it. as long as the doctors believe it is safe i don't think there'd be too much of a problem. laurette 4/23/04 open RNY 309/290/255/
Guest guest
Hi Maggie, There appears to be a pretty wide range of upper limits. My surgeon gave me an agility test. I passed. He said it was because he didn't want to do surgery on someone who was not agile enough to do the walking required right after surgery to keep from getting a pulmonary embolism from deep vein thrombosis. I am 61 and scheduled for surgery in 28 days. Cathy > Has anyone heard of an age deadline for surgery? My doctor said the > age is ?? - 55.
