Guest guest
If Lacie is a little self conscience about her chin portruding (I was when I was 17 although I too was a very attractive 17 year old) The surgery may give her more confidence. I think if I had it younger I may have been haapy about the appearance change. Please just keep reassuring her that you CANNOT tell the change until at least a month after due to swelling and shifting etc. It can be very scary for a young girl having a change in appearance but I think the new smile and profiloe can actually boost her confidence and help her to stand out from the middle in a good way! Good luck and it is so wonderful that you are concerned with her! Jane ps. I love my aunt. I moved here and love being close to her. She is Jane and I am named after her Jane! > > My niece is going to have this surgery soon. She is 18. Guest guest
Hello, Her confidence level will increase dramatically. I waited 27 years for mine. And now I not only have teeth in the correct place, but I dont have a 14 mm overbite anymore. But five months after surgery, I am still numb and my jaw gets sore. The OS says not to worry.
