Same with KFC......you can eat the fried fat in the chicken and it wont affect you like it will somebody who didnt have the surgery. in fact eating KFC is what helps me to break a plateau! Guest guest
Hi Judie, I know you don't have to count-count-count after surgery and believe me, I'm looking forward to it. I was just curious about the details and I know that, for me, I prefer not to eat fast food. I know the " fats are our friends " saying, but I also know about oil slicks and while a little is okay and even good, I'm not a big fan of high-fat unless it says Haagen-Dazs on the label! I also look at things like high-sodium since my body loooves to retain water after a high-salt meal, sometimes for three days. It is amazing to think that I *could* eat a Whopper and have that be enough for one day. Also, if I get upset about a plateau, I'll RACE you to Burger King and Krispy Kreme if that'll work for me too! > Only one problem here......we dont need to count calories or fat > grams with the Ds....fats ARE our friends. Dont need to count > cholesterol either. Carb grams? Maybe. If that whopper is all > you are going to have for the day(with the bun) it probably > makes no difference. I always lose a lb the next day after > eating one!! > > I pay absolutly no attention to fats, calories nor the other > stuff.......and if Im having carbs at a meal I try to have it under > 35 mg. but its not a hard and fast rule. > Works great for me....... > > Judie > >
