Guest guest
I don't and have no clue. If I were your doc, I'd want it out, just so I didn't get snagged in it, I think. But if you're having lower only, maybe they won't mind. Maybe the acryllic plug would be an option. Would it really close that quickly? My ears don't. It's been quite a while since I've worn anything through them, but they're still open. There's a difference, though, I reckon, between an earlobe, with all healed tissue, and a nose, with functioning wet membranes inside. Ask your docs... Guest guest
I think I would take it out because I am thinking of how stuffed up and dried blood was in my nose. It took a week to get it all out. I wouldn't want more discomfort in your nose area. Guest guest
I had my surgery done on the 9th of March. The Dr's said the the nose pierceing needed to come out because of if they need to cauterize it would arch on the stainless steel, so I put in the acrylic retainer, the nurse when I was asleep took it out. Reasons unknown. Which mind you made my very unhappy! > > > > > > Hello, > > > I am going to be having my jaw surgery (sagittal-split > osteotomy) > > at > > > UCLA Medical Center July 26, 2005 and I have my left nostril > > pierced.
