I love your blog! It's illegal on SCD.

No, it is not. Sorry.

BTW, many of us here like your recipes. Welcome to the group.

Welcome Elana,

I love your blog and the recipes in your book (that are SCD legal or adapted)

are fabulous!

The scrumptious sandwich bread on page 26.  This is the best textured almond flour/butter sandwich bread among any recipe I've come across; it's like wheat bread. I love it.  I use finely ground coconut flour instead of the arrowroot and omit the flax seeds.

which recipe?

I love the sandwich bread recipe in your cookbook and make it all the time, except with coconut flour instead of arrowroot.

I also have to add that your instructions to wrap the bread in a paper towel and store it in the fridge are spot on. No sogginess at all, and it freezes well.--

page 26 of which book?

Can you post the scd recipe using your ingredient replacements?

Laurie,

If you're new to the diet you should know that the book we're talking about is

not meant for people on the SCD, but rather for people who are gluten-free and

using almond flour rather than other GF flours. So there are recipes that have

illegals in them. If you know what is and is not okay then the book might be a

good investment but if not, I would wait on it.
