Guest guest
The scrumptious sandwich bread on page 26. This is the best textured almond flour/butter sandwich bread among any recipe I've come across; it's like wheat bread. I love it. I use finely ground coconut flour instead of the arrowroot and omit the flax seeds. which recipe? Guest guest
I also have to add that your instructions to wrap the bread in a paper towel and store it in the fridge are spot on. No sogginess at all, and it freezes well.-- The scrumptious sandwich bread on page 26. Guest guest
The Gluten-free Almond Flour Cookbook. I don't want to post the recipe without the author's permission.Anyway, buy the book. There are many great recipes adaptable to SCD.--
Guest guest
Laurie, If you're new to the diet you should know that the book we're talking about is not meant for people on the SCD, but rather for people who are gluten-free and using almond flour rather than other GF flours. So there are recipes that have illegals in them. If you know what is and is not okay then the book might be a good investment but if not, I would wait on it.
