Hi Dora, yes in my case it was part of my soft foods diet and I didn't

encounter any issues with dairy as I have heard some people can

initially. I focused a lot on dairy trying to get the protein and

calcium in. There are a lot of choices for low-carb yogurts too, Blue

Bunny, Carb Control and Hood/Atkins just came out with one called

CarbCounter that is fabulous, low carb, low fat, no sugar and it takes

excellent, found it at Publix here in Atlanta.

,

Have you tried the Hood/Atkins yogurt smoothies? My dietitian suggested them to

me since the others are way too sweet for me. They are delicious and only have

1g sugar and 13 g of protein. If you haven't try them you might like to.

Thanks for the answer.

Thanks. I have just taught myself to eat yogurt. I have never really liked it,

and it still is not my favorite, but it is good enough. I am trying to work

with my dietitian to loose some weight and thought this would be a good source

of some calcium and protein for my breakfast. I am glad to hear that it can be

part of my diet later on too. The best I have found so far is Kroger lite. But

I will definitely try the Great Value.

Question about soft food

When you progress from a liquid diet to soft foods can yogurt be part of that

soft food diet?
