Guest guest
When you progress from a liquid diet to soft foods can yogurt be part of that soft food diet? Dora Awaiting approval in TN
Guest guest
Hi Dora, yes in my case it was part of my soft foods diet and I didn't encounter any issues with dairy as I have heard some people can initially. I focused a lot on dairy trying to get the protein and calcium in. There are a lot of choices for low-carb yogurts too, Blue Bunny, Carb Control and Hood/Atkins just came out with one called CarbCounter that is fabulous, low carb, low fat, no sugar and it takes excellent, found it at Publix here in Atlanta. Guest guest
, Have you tried the Hood/Atkins yogurt smoothies? My dietitian suggested them to me since the others are way too sweet for me. They are delicious and only have 1g sugar and 13 g of protein. If you haven't try them you might like to. Thanks for the answer. Guest guest
Thanks. I have just taught myself to eat yogurt. I have never really liked it, and it still is not my favorite, but it is good enough. I am trying to work with my dietitian to loose some weight and thought this would be a good source of some calcium and protein for my breakfast. I am glad to hear that it can be part of my diet later on too. The best I have found so far is Kroger lite. But I will definitely try the Great Value.
