Guest guest
I just saw on the celiac food list at geocities that the sausage and bacon were acceptable as gluten free. It's a strict list, so I take their word for it, but does anyone know if they are casein free as well? Thanks, Wendi

Guest guest
The bacon is okay. The sausage is not. It 'may' contain whey protien concentrate. The scrambled eggs are okay. Don't even think about the grilled chicken breast. This thing has 4 sources of dairy from 2 cheese types-romano and parmesan, then non fat milk powder and some other type too. Guest guest
>. The scrambled eggs are okay. >Wendi They are ok...provided they aren't contaminated on the grill...just got back from my holidays which involved a " gluten incident " with McD's scrambled eggs. I always order a side of eggs when we go...as I got to the bottom of the tray, I found some " bits " which looked a lot like pancakes...and several hours later ...well..lets just say...a celiac knows it was pancakes... I've never had a problem before but this was a smaller and unknown McD's...just a reminder that you need to really watch it out there... Speaking of eggs, I also seem to remember seeing a post on the celiac list that IHOP adds pancake batter to their eggs to make them fluffier...and they might not be the only ones... Guest guest
Cant remember exactly-but I do know they have a web address and list the ingredients at the site. I cant remember the exact Addy for you either but all I did was a search for mcdonalds and it pulled it up for me.
