Many people find it easier to use nut butters when introducing things

like muffins, as the nut butters are ground much finer. You can

substitute nut butter in the same amount as nut flour.

That said, cooked, peeled, and seeded vegetables and fruits are best

during the early weeks and months on the diet. Sometimes it is necessary

to restrict the amount of baked goods, also.

Thanks so much for your reply. I guess I should be more patient. I just love the baked goods so much. I'm going to have to wait.

Almond flour is pretty advanced. I've been on the diet 2 years and only enjoy nut flours/butters occasionally. 2 1/2 weeks might be a bit early to start. Misty KimbleCD - no medsSCD - 2 years
