My Name is Amber my son is 11 weeks old and has bilateral

clubfeet. He has been in cast for the last 6 weeks now. 's

casts are changed out every 2 weeks. We are having soem problems

though. For one with this last set of casts he was able to wiggle out

of his right cast. From the start i have not like the way they did

things but with the insurance that we have its the only option that i

have right now. The second problem that has now come along is that

the crease in the bad of his foot above the heal of the foot has been

rubbed raw and has been bleeding. i know before i let them if think

about doing surgery on my baby boy later on down the road other than

the nipping of the tendon. that he will go some where else and get a

second option. I have learn alot by reading and lurking for alittle

while. I didnt find out till nathan was born that he had clubfeet.

Where i take him its a club foot clinic the doctors dont do any of

the casting the interns do. We have only seen the Dr Warrener when he

was first evaluted. i dont like the way they do things at all. When u

go up there u better not have to be anywhere in the next 2 to 4 hours

because that is how long we are normally up there. We live in Pope,

MS and travel up to Memphis,TN to LCH (Labonor Children Hospital). I

was wondering if there was anyone else around this area that goes up

there or just anyone close by?

You all have help alot with all i have read on here and also answered

alot of questions that i had from the beginning.

Thanks

Amber
