Guest guest
For people who use nystatin to fight yeast - what is a typical prescription? Im hoping my doc will give me a prescription, even though dealing with yeast is not really his thing. Best to query him with all the info at hand. This candex thing is no fun - and despite the description of no die off, I'm certainly having low energy and achiness and headaches increased. Though yesterday I had the greatest Epsom bath I've had for a while - I threw in some stuff from Lush as well - in that case, a Haagenbath Bath bomb and half a bath melt. I felt great afterwards. Guest guest
Hi, I remember taking it 3x a day but I don't remember the dosage, sorry! He added Diflucan after a while too. You might be able to find a doctor who will give you a prescription on endfatigue.com, there is a practitioner finder--this is Dr. Teitelabaum's site. Guest guest
Mara. I am currently on a yeast program. Eventually it will be diet only but right now Diflucan (I'm in the middle of 30 days worth) and to be followed by Nystatin. The normal dose of Nystatin powder is 1/4 teasp 4 times a day. I know you can get it in capsules, too, but I don't know the dosage there. Presumably four caps a day, as well, to keep a steady supply going. I prefer to just do the powder in a bit of water though it's rather bitter. Caution here. I have had Nystatin before, and I was told to sneak up to the full dose and I will do that again this time, overlapping some with the last part of the Diflucan. If you are very sensitive this can be as low a start as a " toothpick dose " , which literally is what you can pick up with the wide end of a toothpick. I will plan to start the overlap the last week of the Diflucan unless the doc tells me next week to start earlier. For people who use nystatin to fight yeast - what is a typical prescription? Im hoping my doc will give me a prescription, even though dealing with yeast is not really his thing. Best to query him with all the info at hand.
