This reminds me of the jerk of a PA I was seeing at my former

PCP's office. I gained 112 lbs in about 8 months. I was so swollen that

you could bearly see my eyes and my toes looked like little peas. I went

from a size 7 shoe to a size 12. My wonderful (sarcasm intended) PA kept

telling me I was fine. I finally asked him if I had been normal weight

prior to me gaining the 112 lbs if he would have been concerned. He said

" Well of course but you weren't normal weight. " Some how it made it

okay since I was already MO. Needless to say I no longer going to that

PCP. I found a doctor that gets excited when I loose weight, is gentle

when I don't, wants to know how he can help when things get bad.

At first I got frustrated because I wanted to be off of all of my

meds. I am only off of one. However, there was never any guarantee I

would be off of any of my meds so I have finally okay with the pill

popping thing. Infact, I actually remember to take my meds more then I

forget them now, something I didn't do prior to surgery.
