Ok, the altitude has gotten to Momma Ceep. LOL Evil Ceep...you send Momma

Ceep here right now. If she needs to kill time and avoid

something...watching new puppies is the BEST way to do it! They are just so

darn CUTE. I will even move one of the dogs out of the guest room. So, she

can sneak in and peek at the pups any time she wants and she can rest and

procrastinate all she wants.

protein

People ask me why I don't just eat meat to get my protein. Ceep's standard

reply: It's just not my whey.

ahhahahahahah! hahahahah!

love,

Sue,

The premixed protein drinks are full of preservatives and the whey

protein itself has been handled differently by the manufacturer. Also,

the premixed shakes are pasteurized, killing any stuff that gets mixed

into it before the canning process.

Which do you think lasts longer without starting to grow bacteria and

molds? Which is better for your health? Which tastes better?

- warm homemade bread on the kitchen counter

- store-bought bread with preservatives in a plastic bag

- fresh-picked strawberries from the garden

- strawberries from the store that have been sprayed with at least three

chemicals

- fresh warm milk in a stainless steel bucket from the cow shed

- cold 2% pasteurized homogenized milk in plastic from the grocery store

When it comes right down to it, it's your health you're risking. Not

only might you be drinking a bucket of bacteria (gross), but you might

be getting 0 protein grams along with the calories. Is it worth it to

save thirty seconds first thing in the morning?

Protein

Hi everyone involved in the " pre-mix or not to pre-mix " debate. This is

what the nutritionist said to me.

" I have never heard that, if that was a fact all premade protein shakes

would be deteriorating on the shelf. "

I trust this woman-she has been on the money with everything so far, so

folks...I will continue to pre-mix (and enjoy the convenience) unless I

find something published that is more convincing. The thought of

pre-mixing days in advance doesn't appeal to me though....just overnight

at most.

Have a great day!

Suzy,

I can see why you are successful. Great Job with the weight loss

and keeping the carbs down.

Hi everyone, when we take the protein shakes do they have to be

40% or 60% can we get by with just 40% as I can get that here but no higher

without going to San , Texas?

Thanks for the help,

PS would it be ok to use the kind of jell pill (B-12) that you put under your

tongue?

I'm not sure I understand your question. Is your question about the % of

protein to drink at a time? If so, I understand that our body can only absorb

30% of protein at a time and drinks should be 2 hours apart. Anymore protein

than that can not be absorbed. I drink Protein Ice which has 40% protein in a

bottle. I'm only getting 30% protein.

Was that your question?

Hi Cindy,

Check out the vitalady.com website. They have samples that you can

order which I think is great because then you're not stuck with a

giant container of something you don't like. I have also bought

protein powder from walmart and costco and I prefer the vanilla

flavors because then I can add fruit or other things to them.

You can also get samples at Vitaladay.com. She is a WLS success

story herself and she owns the business. She is very nice and

helpful and she and her staff are very knowledgable.
