Guest guest
1-I am very sorry my posts show up with First Last. It is driving me nuts b/c I changed my settings but it doesn't change in the post. Now my question has anyone read the book about eating for you blood type? It is very interesting although I just started reading it. I did see some odd things though like coconut oil is bad for all types. And avocados are only good for A. I did't know if anyone followed this too?

If I ate what A's are supposed to eat, I'd fall over inside of 48 hours. Plus, he follows the " saturated fat is bad, bad, bad, bad bad " nonsense. That's why he's against coconut oil. — Marilyn New Orleans, Louisiana, USA Undiagnosed IBS since 1976, SCD since 2001 Darn Good SCD Cook No Human Children Shadow & Sunny Longhair Dachshund
Guest guest
I have tried this diet. It did not work for me. A Naturopath I know told me that there is no scientific basis that it is true. For example, my blood type is O and sweet potato is 'Highly Beneficial' according to the author. I was eating lots of them and I am not well. Why? Because Elaine is right!! I know that's not right for me. Other things are inconsistent also. Terri 1-I am very sorry my posts show up with First Last. Guest guest
,I have tried it and think it isn't really valid. It is basically trying to say that everyone in the whole world falls into about 4 categories. I just don't think one can generalize that much. You would really be restricting yourself trying to adhere to both SCD and that. It is more work, but trial and error with what you personally tolerate while on SCD (and at different points of healing) would be better suited to you now. Maybe if you were completely healed you could try it and see if you felt better, but doing it now would really muddy the waters in my opinion.AmeliaHusband UC 9 years, SCD 19 monthsLDN 3 mgTo: btvc-scd Sent: Tue, February 9, 2010 5:25:36 AMSubject: Eating for blood type? 1-I am very sorry my posts show up with First Last.
