Guest guest
I have had surgery on the arm and the gastic bypass. 10 tiny tubes where inserted in my arm to allow drainage in the cast. And for the gastric bypass I had a fluid pouch. When they removed my fluid pouch I was still leaking...for a bettter sense of the word. Some nights I would wake up with a wet incision. This is normal. Of course I was also told to keep a track of how much fluids were discharging into the pouch. -- fluid coming out of incision Hi all My husband woke me up at 2AM this morning because there was fluid coming out of one of the incisions. We called the doctor and they are calling the pharmacy to physcribe a anti-biotic. Has this happened to anyone else? I'm a little concerned. The doctor claims that this is pretty normal after surgery. Please let me know of any experiences that you may have had that is similar. Thanks
Guest guest
I also had fluid coming out of my incision. I was actually having an allergic reaction to the internal stitches. It took a couple of weeks, but finally stopped " oozing " . Robin Lap RNY 4/27/04 257/216/
