OT: advice for freezing fruits and veggies

I just wanted to pass along some advice that helped me tremendously. When I

freeze fruits, I cut them in pieces, line a cookie sheet with parchment paper,

lay the fruit on it, stick it in the freezer and once they are frozen, move them

to a bag. That way you have individually frozen pieces of fruit and not one big

blob. This helps a lot with bananas for smoothies. Instead of ice, I pull out a

handfull of frozen bananas.

If you are going to freeze veggies, blanch then for 2-3 minutes first, and

freeze using the same method. It's really not that time consuming.
