Guest guest
Bob, of course you've been group-hugged! We all have! That's part of why this group is here. And we're still in there cheering you on. Since you mention that your back is also locked up, I'm thinking of Fiddlesticks, who has great success using a multidisciplinary approach to her treatment. Primary caregivers she's used have included a chiropractor (I've been to one -- a nice guy who made my back feel better for about 24 hours! Then I was back to go.) and a masseuse trained in sacro-cranial massage. I dunno. It might be worth investigating, or at least asking your ortho/surgeon/physician about. As for things changing after they've been sliced and bolted in place. I don't really know. I think the answer may lie in, " Never underestimate the power of a big muscle, nor its desire to return to its accustomed routines.
