my son is 5 and a half months old and just had his molding a week ago. are they

going to do the computer scan? i heard that is alot easier but not as accurate

but im not sure. they did like a cast of my sons head and he really did not mind

until the very end. actually he was on a big doctors table and ya know how they

have that paper over it? well, lol, he loved the paper. he played with it the

whole time they did the cast and it took about 8-10 min. not very long maybe

even less! i am kinda new to all this but around 6 weeks i started to notice the

flat side of his head. i think they said my little guys was around 17mm. (this

was at around 4 months?) i had already started positioning him different. he was

10 pounds when i had him so they said that he was restricted in the womb and he

alwasy had his head turned to one side....i noticed it but everyone said it was

no big deal. i would turn his head in the middle of the night but when id wake

up with him he would have it turned again! so yeah.

i went back in 3 weeks and he said it was unusual but he changed around 4 mm but

he said without the helmet he didnt think it would look completely normal.

i love him no matter what but i really dont want him to grow up and hate me if i

didnt get it

Thank You all so much!! That video was great, thank you for posting it. I'm just a nervous mommy!! My husband thinks I'm crazy...I am still concerned about nursing him, has anyone ran into problems nursing when their LO was in the helmet??

You won't have any problem nursing your baby while in the helmet.

Just wanted to give a quick update... Mark has his scan yesterday and it went AMAZING!!! I was sooo worried and lost sleep for nothing!!  He laughed the whole time.  There were about 5 people in there just laughing with him because they couldn't believe how funny he was.  He thought that was the greatest thing ever.  The staff at CT Dallas are amazing and I am soo happy we found them and are doing this for our LO.  We get his helmet on the 6/1 and I am actually excited.  They said they got some great shots and that his band should be great, I am really looking forward to starting this process and having it behind us.  I am hoping he will adjust as well as he did with that stocking over his face  

 

Now the next stresser, what kind of stickers to buy to decorate his little band!!!
