Guest guest
Hi Jane, Happy 26th Birthday to us!! I'm on the 24th. Where were you born?? I'm glad you are getting some antibiotics to help with the congestive problems. Always sucks to have some new development/complication. You'll get through it though! Yea, I have heard the nose sprays don't retain their magic powers forever. I'm sorry yours aren't providing you with relief anymore. One week and 4 days!?!?! That is awesome!!! That time will be passed in no time!! That is marvelous. I'm excited for you! I don't know how much longer I will be banded. I wasn't banded until one week after surgery. My surgeon says he is waiting for the swelling in my joints to go down before banding me into my splint too tightly. I know I want him to do whatever is best but part of me HATES this splint and can't wait for it to be out. I'm hoping I'll get the splint out at 6 weeks after surgery. I am almost at two weeks. This next month is going to be hard. I will enjoy reading about your being unwired and that will help keep me going, I'm sure. I'll be glad when this part is all over with. I totally can't wait for the splint to be out so my ortho can start perfecting and finalizing my perfect smile and bite- for the first time in my life!!! Keep in touch, and I hope you start feeling better soon with the antibiotics! Guest guest
Katja, I think it was you that said you noticed your sutures coming out when rinsing and brushing. I was told that my stitches would dissolve and they seem to be still in tact 4 weeks later! They mentioned that they used the dark blue stitches which are more durable at my last appt. and they even cut a few because they were so knotted up it was causing me pain. What do they look like when they come out tiny black dots or stringy stitches. I'm just wondering when these things will be gone! And I haven't noticed any coming out in the sink yet. Especially with all my caughing and sneezing.
