Guest guest
Hi , I also have very sensitive teeth. It is driving me crazy, because I want to Bite INTO something after all these years. I do think it is due to the nerve rejuvination, so I am glad in a way that I do feel something. I asked my OS about it, and I have no damage according to the xray, so it is the nerves. I just have to be even more patient. I am 4 months post, and hopefully, it will only keep getting better. good luck, bethanne > > Hi everyone, > Well, I was sooo excited to get my splint off a week and a half ago, > but....the two last upper molars on either side of my mouth are sooo > super sensitive, and it's driving me crazy. Guest guest
Could be, , or it could be plain old sensitivity, which some folks get, alas. (Some people actually have considerable pain because of sensitivity when the brackets and wires are removed -- I hope that will not come to pass for you.) What might help is a toothpaste called Sensodyne. I believe it has a cumulative effect, so don't give up on it after a few days of brushing. And do ask your ortho and surgeon about it...
