Guest guest
Cheri, I read my messages from the website. Keeps my email open for other things. I found that I would have missing messages when I tried to have everything sent to me. I read, remember which message I left off from, and start back again. Works for me...each to their own! Guest guest
Hi Cheri! It's about time you joined us! LOL The good news is that you've started addressing the weight gain before it got into double digits. I have the same problem you do with fruit. I am so hooked on them, and for me, it's harder to give them up than the junk food (crackers, pretzels, etc.). As for the Atkins shakes, as I understand it, it's not that they're bad, it's just that they're not as good for us (bioavailable) as the pre-digested whey powders. Have you been to Vitalady.com to order samples? That would be my suggestion. There are so many different flavors, as well as SF syrups, that can be used to doctor up the stuff to make it to you liking. And, yes, a protein shake for breakfast is a great idea. I like mine thick, like a milkshake, so I make mine in the blender with ice, a tbs. of SF FF pudding powder, sf Davinci syrup, whatever I feel like, and it's thick, filling and satisfying. Anyway, not to take anytyhing away from AMOS, but it's good to see you on this list which, IMNSHO, should be required reading for all! I know that eating first thing in the morning is a metab. booster, I just cannot stomach food first thing in the AM. > > And this board is SO active, how do you guys keep up?
