D'oh...you're right! It was mentioned. :)

That reminds me: I remember telling my old PCP that I was considering a gastric

bypass/duodenal switch surgery for weight loss. Her response was, " What are

they gonna switch it with? " Most people I know would say, " Duo-who?? "

This is a description of the stomach staple. The otherimportant

aspects of the DS surgery (duodenal switch,malabsorption,pyloric valve, etc.)

are notmentioned...at all.

Well, duodenal switch was mentioned; just not explained.--S

I posted the story and thanks to for providing the link (im so pc

illiterate) but it was White, of Yakima, who provided the link for me
