Guest guest
We are planning a vacation, and wondering if anyone on the diet in northern CA, Oregon, or Washington (or maybe Vancouver, Canada) has favorite gfcf restaurant meals (or suppliers) they could recommend? Last time we did this, we had yummy contaminated (wheat dusted!) french fries in Grant's Pass, OR, couldn't find the northern CA In-N-Out Burger, wasted hours trying to find a health food store in Redding, but lucked out at regular markets in ville, CA and Portland, OR. Hopefully, someone else could email me with successful meals they do. I'd be happy to do the same for those who are visiting southern CA. Guest guest
I'm in Sonoma County and we have Oliver's Markets and Whole Foods. Both have most of the gfcf stuff popular on this list. I have been unable to find any Tofutti products though. Sacramento has lots of resources I'm told (we are thinking of moving there). We have an IN and Out Burger in Rohnert Park and there is one in Eureka. I use the same Mcs all the time and they still get it wrong when I ask for meat patties only. Most restaurants think we're crazy and we've had a hard time getting them to heat up food (even pre-packaged) that we bring in with us. Good luck and have a wonderful trip!
