I've had that happen too. For me it was hypoglycemia. Seems to be

that it's pretty common for us posties. You're blood sugar drops too

low. I found my got much better when I went from 1-2 shakes per day

to 2-4 shakes. If I eat too many carbs (like today), it can happen

too. My blood sugar gets high then drops like a rock. I've actually

tracked it with my Glucometer. I also make sure I have something with

protein before I exercise. More than once I've come off the treadmill

and had to practically crawl to the kitchen to get something. Keep a

watch on it, and mention it to your doctor. Mine wasn't surprised at

all.

Sandy,

This doesn't happen to me to often since I had WLS. I had it

quite a bit just prior to surgery. For me, it was my blood sugar

dropping. What worked for me just prior to surgery was protein and carb

such as peanut butter or cheese with crackers. I still carry cheese and

crackers with me just in case. However, it could indicate menopause or

something else. I would definitely check it out with your doctor.

It is curious that it only happens on Sunday. A few years ago

I had migraines all of the time. It seemed to happen more on the weekend

(usually Saturday) and completely incapacitated me all weekend. At first

I thought it was my job but later realized my job was fine it was my

personal life that was stressing me out. One thing I did was start

journaling what happened a few days before the migraine and what I was

missing because of the migraine. The reason I mention this is that I

wonder if your eating habits change on the weekends, more specifically on

Sunday. Maybe keeping a food journal would help in finding out what is

going on.

Adding my 6 cents: it's probably reactive hypoglygemia, and I STILL get it

every so often even tho I no longer " surf the red river. " Eating too much at

one time, or the wrong thing can set it off for me. Best defense is small

meals more often, and stay away from simple carbs (complex are ok). Best

treatment is to eat some protein and complex carb together, but not a whole

lot--like some peanut butter and crackers for example. I used to have

diabetes, and kept my blood glucose meter. Take readings whenever I get the

symptoms you describe, and have gone as low as 36mg/dl--which is WAY low.

(Low range of normal is 70).
