I know in Colorado at least, Kaiser is only doing the open RNY, which is why I just switched insurance companies. If he does do the BPD/DS, make sure he know about possible co-morbs..sleep apnea (have you been tested yet ? Get him to refer you if not), stress urinary incontinence, back pain, edema of the legs and ankles, etc Good luck!
