I think I'm reading your posts out of order, sorry about that! But I think I got

it now. Basically he's only got 1mm of improvement wearing it for 2 months

already. I think I still need to know his age. I'm not really sure what the

posterior/anterior measurements mean, but if you think it's holding on the wrong

side of his prominent forehead, it should be pretty easy to see. At least with

my son's DOCBand, you could see it pressed up to his bossed side, and there was

visible space between his forehead and the foam on the flatter side. If things

aren't going well, I would try to get a second opinion, and you can even call

Orthomerica (the makers of the STARBand) directly and ask them questions. I know

people have had second bands made because the first one didn't fit properly, but

I guess the first hurdle is finding someone who will take your concerns

seriously.

Good luck!

he is .95 for posterior and started at .89, but he has gotten worse in the

anterior he went from .89 to .87. it looks like he has no growth restriction on

the protruding side of his forehead, and some on his lower side. the orthotist

disagrees and says the helmet fits fine but i see it everyday and know how it

shifts. i think the orthotists have adjusted the helmet way too much, and we

should get a new one. anyone have similar experience?

our first band didn't fit at all well and ultimately we ended up going with another company. my advice would be to take photos to share with your orthotist and seek a second opinion elsewhere. a second opinion never hurt anyone! good luck!!
