Hi there -

I was pregnant with my daughter when my son was diagnosed. Once we

discovered the diet and how much it helped him, I went GFCF and was

totally GFCF while breastfeeding (it helped me loose the baby weight

very easily) We figured that we were better safe than sorry. We also

have postponed our daughter's vaccinations - she is 16 months old and

hasn't had any shots yet and is amazingly healthy. We want to wait

until we can tell for certain that she is ok. So far she is exactly

where our son was before he went away, but since he gradually

succumbed to autism starting around 15 months the next few months

will be critical for us.

Also - keeping the whole house GFCF makes it easier for babysitters

and also the chance of accidents is greatly reduced. It was easier

for us to do this and we seem to eat a lot better these days.

Good luck.
