Fay:

Glad you went to the doc and on the way to getting better. Don't wait so

long next time. : )

On the Vioxx front, I work for gastroenterologists and they also treat

me in regards to my various GI problems from time to time. When a

surgeon wanted to give me Vioxx I made the surgeon call the GI docs and

they said it was alright for me to take it, but only for three days and

that I was to double up on the Nexium while on it. Took it with no

problems.

What works for me is Liquid acidophyllus (sp). It's the natural good bacteria in yoghurt-- but yoghurt has so much sugar or sweetners-- that I need to do the tablets or Liquid. I find the liquid gets ingested so much faster with everything. I do have aciphex when it gets to where I'm doing antibiotics on top of everything else.

Take care

Matt, I agree, could very well be medication, and or supplements, I take so many supplements to help with the side effects of all the drugs. I also take a heart dose aspirin, for high BP, and better if I take it in the am. I am running out of meds to help the pain, Advil was helping some, but too hard on the stomach, now I take Tylenol Arthritis, it at least takes the edge off, and the MSM of course every day. I can't take stronger pain meds, nausea, vomiting, etc. very good point. Marla

Hi just wondering whether some of the pain is being brought on by medicines. We had issues here with and some of her medicines makinge her have severe stomach pains and nausea. A change in dosage seemed to help along with taking Pepcid or other acid reducer med. Matt

Yes we have particularly found that to be the case with medicines to take away or ease the tremors she suffers. We tried Mycellin and Senemet and both made her severely nauseous and we even the med they gave her to stop the nausea didn't help. She had to stop taking the med. Matt
