Thank you for your words of encouragement. Were you also cancelled due to

problems with your albumin levels? Dr. Gagner finally answered my e-mail

today and apologized for the " last minute " cancellation. He wants me to

consult with Dr. Pomp, one of his colleagues, who also is a fellow in

clinical nutrition. I emailed him tonight, outlining the situation and asking

if I should schedule and appointment to discuss it further. I really don't

feel like making yet another trip to NYC just to have him look at my labs and

shake his head " no " . His office is right across the hall from Dr. Gagner. Can

you imagine? Well as we baseball fans here in the US say: " It ain't over; the

fat lady didn't sing yet. " Take care and good luck with your surgery. I'll

keep you posted.
