Freedom of Speech v. Moderation

I'm sorry Carol, but I think you are off-base on this. These lists are supposed

to be moderated in some form. I too believe in freedom of speech. I ignore

postings that don't concern me. If we allowed every kind of posting on the

group, the real purpose of it would be lost. Yes, these people are entitled to

their opinion, but we are entitled to not be spammed by these types of messages.

We are here to support each other in our WLS journeys. These types of messages

should be deleted before being allowed to be posted. Religion and politics don't

belong here. There is a time and place for everything. I repeat-I am a very

strong advocate of freedom of speech. But I resent being spammed.

We should not try and mess with freedom of speech...if you don't want to read it

delete it! There are a lot of e-mails from this and other groups that I am not

interested in...my freedom allows me to delet the messages, the same freedom

your husband is fighting for and all soldiers have fought for is the freedom to

express ourselves. If we do not have the freedom to speak our minds (on and off

topic) and share with one another...I will not be a part of something that is

that un-American....

Oh and to keep this somewhat on topic...LOL...I had a new defining moment...went

to the theater last night and had no problem sitting in the chais...woo

hoo...but now 8 am feeling somewhat boney when taking a bath....the hoys and

woes of losing weight...wouldn't have it any other way!

I feel the same way !!!!!! The " OWNER " needs to take cake care of this ASAP

MY HUSBAND Is over there fighting and that's all I think about is him and his

unit .... PLEASEEEEEEEEE pray for them all to come home safe !!!!!!!
