Guest guest
came out of her casts and went into the shoes this evening. I was nervous after our bad experience with the Markells (crying and screaming and then a pressure sore), but she did not complain about the s one bit. They were easy for me to put on and seemed very comfortable for . They are more lightweight than the Markells and she can lift them easily, which helped a lot. We did have one issue in that there are not enough holes to make the strap on the foot part (near the toes) tight enough. I think I will go to a shoe repair shop and have them punch more holes rather than try to do it myself. Any thoughts? Currently, she is sleeping peacefully in the shoes with the strap by the toes not done. I will have it fixed tomorrow. Guest guest
Isn't the difference amazing???!!! When we switched he cried initially. I think he was expecting the old pain to come back - but shortly it was nearly as if no shoes were on him at all and it's been that way ever since. BTW I punched more holes with a hammer and nail....but if yuo have a shoe shop near by that might be better s. Our MItchell shoes came out of her casts and went into the shoes this evening. Guest guest
We use a 'dremel' drill. LOL Had it already. Works great. Re: Our MItchell shoes Carol~ Congratulations!! I'm so happy for you and ! I went to Hobby Lobby and bought a leather punch-- only $5 and it worked great!! Now I have it forever, so when we upgrade sizes we have what we need, and if I ever take up leather making, I'll have a tool already!! lol Stacee > came out of her casts and went into the shoes this > evening. Guest guest
Carol, so glad to hear is in the s. They are great! If you decide to make the holes yourself, you can use a hammer and nail to put a hole through. Carol wrote: came out of her casts and went into the shoes this evening.
