Guest guest
I had upper jaw surgery & genio (chin) and stayed in the hospital for 23 hours too. I could not wait to leave. I had no complications at all. My surgery was over 1 year ago but the schedule was like this: 10 AM arrive at hospital 2 PM surgery (started late because doctor's previous surgery took longer than expected) 6 PM got to private room, did not sleep a wink 9 AM (next day) was discharged I think if you have double jaw surgery, you def. stay longer than 23 hours. Good luck!
Guest guest
I went in at 12:01 a.m. on a Tuesday, had surgery at 7 a.m., left the hospital at about 1 p.m. Wednesday. Little bit more than 24 hours, but still, a quick stay. My surgeon requested approval for up to a five-day stay in the hospital, best I remember, just in case, but I didn't need it.
