UK Members & UK Groups...?

Hi everyone

I'm a British bloke who had a Vertical Banded Gastroplasty in 1992 and am

now ready for the surgeon's knife again.

I've opted for a Proximal gastric bypass and also the Scopinaro procedure

(Biliopancreatic diversion) which obviously needs a bit more than

laproscopic surgery :-(

I saw the surgeon last week and he is ready to do the surgery " as soon as

possible " , pending the anaesthetists' assessment in a week's time.

I was wondering whether there where any UK subscribers or online groups for

discussion and support. It's not that I haven't felt at home here in the few

days since I joined *g* but I'd like to hear from any UK subscribers ;-)
