You might have a try at making your own. On the New Diets site we've got

two recipes now with another one coming in the next week or so

http://newdiets.com/Basic_Ingredients/Rice_Milk.shtml. The link to the

second recipe is on the bottom of this page.

I don't have an answer for you but perhaps you could ask your local

food store to stock pacific rice milk?

-My daughter uses Westbrae Natural on her cereal(she's never been a

milk drinker) and I did call and confirm gfcf because it contains

rice syrup. Good luck.

I, too, have been frustrated in finding a good rice

milk that doesn't have a problematic additive. I've

been using Rice Original from Whole Foods. However,

just today, I realized that it contains lecithin...

could be soy-based. I think that my daughter has

developed a sensitivity to soy-based products. I've

been using the rice milk in EVERYthing, so it could be

the culprit for some recent, stubborn diarrhea and

erratic behavior. SO, I made my own rice milk today

and fortified it with the EVERYDAY COMPANIAN powdered

vitamin supplement, containing calcium and other

important nutrients. Olivia has been having trouble

handling supplements, so I'm thinking this may be a

great way to slowly get them into her throughout the

day. The milk was very easy to make. 1 cup COOKED

rice(I used Goya, fortified medium grain white) 4 cups

warm/hot water. Puree in blender for 5 minutes. Let

sit for at least 30 minutes, then carefully pour into

container. Be careful not to pour any of the sediment

that has settled to the bottom. Also, I recommend

pouring through a seive or netting. You can add

vanilla, a little sugar or honey, as well for taste. I

just added a little stevia. It cooks up well in

tapioca pudding, at least..the only thing I've made

with it so far. Olivia didn't mind the taste and has

not had any reaction so far!
