My #3 child has this condition, primarily on the outsides of his

upper arms and on his face, but it can show up on his legs and in

other places too. If it gets really bad, it develops whiteheads

which break and ooze. For him, it is DH, a skin manifestation of

celiac. You can get more information on that at this link.

http://www.celiac.com/index.html

At the bottom of this page is an index, there is a sub-link for DH

[dermatitis herpetiformis], and at the bottom of that page are several

links of photos.

He also gets a similar type rash, altho slightly different, when

eating foods to which he has true allergies [rather than having

leaky-gut intolerances].

When he gets this rash, it takes 2-3 weeks for it to go away, after

removing the offending food/s.

So if your child was my child, I would know that he was still eating

something that either contained gluten, or that he was allergic to,

and I would have to figure out what it was and remove it.

I don't know if your child is the same reason a mine, but your

description sounds exactly like my child's rash. If you are taking

her to the doctor anyway, consider allergy testing, because that might

tell you the exact foods she is allergic to. Or if she is not yet

gf, you can request a celiac test.

Good luck.
