i'm 2 months post op and i'm drinking coronas without any problems.

i have noticed that i'm getting really buzzed really quick.

i'm not sure if it's because i haven't drank beer for over 3 months or is it

due to the pouch but this is my experience.

Wow...2 months and drinking already?!?!? I am 11 months out and just had my

first glass of wine. Be careful with the beer because beer is loaded with

carbonation. Carbonation eats away at your pouch. After Gastric Bypass,

drinking is much more intense because you do not absorb the alcohol the way you

are used to. Best of luck to you.
