Guest guest
Hello, My son is 6 months old. Yesterday he got a Doc Band. He has postional Plagiocephaly. He has a asymetery of 11.6. My peditrican does not think he needs a helmet. The neurosurgeron said he was a resonable canidate. His PT thought he needed it also. Now that he has it I am having regrets and wondering if we did the right thing. Did anyone else feel like this?
Guest guest
Why are you having regrets? Is he not adjusting well? It seems, just by his measurements, that he is a good candidate, and at his age, he shouldn't be in the band very long. Did Cranial Tech estimate how long he would be wearing it? I really think you should give it some time to settle in. It's usually a lot harder on the parents than the baby, they're VERY resilient. Hang in there!
