Thanks , how have you been doing. I hope your family had a good Christmas

& New Years. My year has ended regarding staying home with Aidan so I've been

beating the pavement looking for jobs.

It is so unbelievable frustrating. These days almost everything is done by

internet. Forget putting on the suit and actually walking in your resume.

Anyway, something will come up (I hope). I hope is doing well and those

little feetsies of hers.

Thanks Tamsin for that. It's funny that you mention speaking because Aidan has

quite a vocabulary and is well ahead of his age in the speaking category!@ :-)

took his own steps a few weeks later. It takes a while for these things to

gel, and these babies cant practice by standing in their cribs at night

(although what they can do in their ddb is amazing) and also I think (just a

theory) that it takes a while for ankle strength to build & shy; it wasn¹t until

Jasper¹s ankles stopped rolling so much that he walked. His speech is great,

and I think he developed this instead of worrying himself with walking (why

walk when you can ask someone to get what you want for you!)

Thanks for your input. The feet position makes me feel better as well. I'm

also a twin. Your girls are lucky to have each other, it is a very special

bond. Funny thing, I think I actually started walking when I was 10 months old

and my twin brother didn't start until he was 17 months old! My mom said he was

just never interested, he'd much rather sit back and smell the flowers.

Both my twins (one with clubfoot, one without) didn't

start walking until they were 17 months old (they were

7 weeks premature by the way), and that even though I

myself apparently walked at 10 months and I was told

early walking runs in the familiy, obviously not

always...

Anyway, I read that the average is 15 months, so for

every baby that can walk at 10 months, there must be

one that doesn't do it until he's 20 months, right?

As they say, we can't all be above average!

And the funny foot position when walking sounds normal

to me too, both my twins had some very funny walks

when they first started, I guess they need to learn

where exactly to put the feet too...

We moved over the Holidays, so not a good year for us as far as holidays go.

I know what you mean in the job department. I too have been looking since I

have moved to Charlotte. I can't even get an interview because they do

everything by internet. A friend of mine told me to put my picture on my

resume. They say a lot of people do that now. Once I get settled, I may try

that.
