Guest guest
Hello, I have been reading a lot and now have an insurance question. I have insurance through my husband's work, I am currently self-employed. I was thinking of going full time at a job but would decline their insurance, because whenever you get your own insurance, it becomes your primary and they automatically the ones you have to use. This particular employer's plan is not WLS-DS friendly plus even if I could get it, I'd pay a lot more. So, not to be TOO paranoid (from everything I've read, how can one BE too paraoid??) -- does anyone know out there if insurance co's could use the fact I declined insurance at my new job against me?? At this point I have told them I may want to continue contract for now, just because of this, but some think I'm being silly because I would not get disability, and all theother important benefits. First and foremost I need and want this surgery!!
