I called Kline and Beecham before about amoxicillan and they informed

me that there is a chance of cross contamination because they do not

thouroughly clean their equipment before they start something else. Stinks

but it's true. Have you ever thought about using a probiotic? I started it

with my son and the last time he had to take an antibiotic he was much more

pleasant than the previous times.

Joanne,

I know that amox contains gluten, but we stay away from it totally. My

son just had strep for 2 months and we treated him with bicillin which is

gfcf, but is a shot in the butt. It does have some soy in it which we

also avoid, but this was the lesser of all evils for us. Plus, we didn't

have to fight him each day to take the meds!
