This most recent flare has pushed me over the edge for taking LDN. Before this I was taking 5 pills of Asacol and nothing else. Now I need Pred, hrdrocortisone, and 12 pills of asacol to stay safe although i'm FINALLY getting better and reducing meds slowly. What i'm curious about is, while on the diet... have you noticed a drastic change? My fear is that I won't be able to identify "problem" foods.. sort of like now while i'm on all this meds, I could probably eat a warehouse full of candy and wouldn't see a reaction.Second part is what compounding pharmacy do you use to get the cream? I want to start this way since it will have no impact on my healing gut!So, diet... then LDN... and still diet. Any noticable changes after LDN but continued diet?My doc already agreed to let me try LDN, but we'll see how honest he is when I ask for the script. If he gives me the run around i'm going to give HIM a free colonoscopy with my foot!-UC - 1+ yearsSCD - 7 months 100% strict and 4 months restricted diet.Asacol - 5 pills a day Hotmail: Free, trusted and rich email service. Get it now.

Coastal Compounding in Savannah- they will ship it to you. I still notice if a

food gives me problems-but I am tolerating more legal foods.

Do you need a prescription to get it there?

I was going to do the pills but I'd rather have the cream--easier to control the amount.

I've been taking LDN for 2 months. I still take my Pentasa, just to be cautious.

I really don't feel any different on LDN, but that's not exactly bad since I was

doing okay with just the diet. I was hoping for an improvement in my fatigue,

but no dice. I'm going to get my thyroid checked next to see if that's my

problem. I'll keep taking the LDN though, because it may be doing good stuff

that I'm not aware of.
