Guest guest
At first it was just lower, but then the oral surgeon mentioned he might have to do something with the upper. He didn't really think he would have to move it, but he was figuring he would have to widen my upper palate but he said he wouldn't know for sure until he did the mock surgery on the molds. He also said he wasn't going to do anything he didn't have to do either. Although he did ask if I there was anything about my upper jaw I didn't like, but I, not wanting anything more done then necessary and having no problems with my upper jaw anyway, said no of course and it was determined to go ahead with just lower jaw. Was that confusing enough? hehhe. Yes, they did take the wisdom teeth out at the same time as the jaw surgery. They were in there frigging around anyway, good as time as any and cheaper I might add then to have it done at a dentists office. Anyway, that's that, and it really hasn't been that bad. Day 5 was the worst, but just because I was tired and had a nasty taste in my mouth, but I got some rest and rinsed and rinsed and rinsed and have been feeling normal since. Although the liquid diet does get tiresome!!! > > > Mel > > Im having the same surgery probably nov dec. At anytime > was it ever mentioned maybe upper also or was it allways > just lower.
